Peek-a-boo!

One more card using the new and very, very, cute Stitched die sets by Lisa Horton.

This "Reindeer Pal" is peeping through a die-cut window in the front of the card, so when you open the card you see the whole of his body.

Here is a reminder of my Stitched Collection card samples.

Happy crafting!

Advent Calendar

Something a bit different . . .
This is the new Advent Calendar die set from Creative Expressions, which enables you to make your own Advent Calendars. Inside the packaging are detailed step by step instructions and colour photographs. The main steps are as follows:

Step 1 - Prepare your calendar front, either by using a decorative piece of card or maybe stamping a suitable design.

Step 2 - attach a sheet of paper to the back and die cut your windows where required. There are several sizes and shapes supplied for you to choose from.

Step 3 - Number each window, using the dies supplied.

Step 4 - The sheet of paper on the back can now be used as your template to stamp small images behind each window.

There is a set of clear stamps designed to co-ordinate with this die set, CEC878 Advent Calendar Stamps, and the next picture shows what a finished calendar looks like once the recipient has started to open some of the windows.

The calendars can be made in any size and you could also use the window dies to reveal messages on cards too!
